Now our family photo from one of our favorite summer spots has a companion on the wall. I just love it!
I won't go into too much detail how to make it in Photoshop. You just need to create a Blank File, change the background color, and start adding your layers. I used Webdings to create the people, the line tool (or the rectangle tool; cant remember) to create the bar the people are standing on, and I downloaded "Daniel" font here for the lettering.
Finding the correct Webdings was the hardest part, so I wanted to make it a little easier for you. I have the male and female "people" for you to download below. You won't be able to see them until you put them on a colored background, so you'll have to trust me that they're there. :-) If they don't work, please let me know. I also created a Word document with the images in it here, so you can see them and just copy and paste from that if it's easier (I imagine you might be able to even do the whole project in Word). You may have to actually download the document to your computer to be able to select the images. Have fun creating!
I love it! I'v got photoshop too, but have never played w/ it to make prints. I need to give it a shot.

ReplyDeletequestion. I want to make a printable that prints to an 8x10. What size should I make my blank file. I have been fiddling with this project for so long and just am not sure the easiest way to post it on my blog so readers can print it out for themselves.
Thanks a bunch!
Just sent you an email. Let me know if you have other questions! I love questions. :-)
